NEW TO MY WARDROBE

Current Loves... Christmas Candles

I'm sure you all know by now I'm a bit of a festive fiend, and one of my new loves over the past few months have been lovely smelling candles! Over the festive period I really felt this would just be the cherry on the cake and would throw me full on into Christmas fairy mode. I searched around Brighton on my lunch break looking at different brands and smells and actually came across the below on the way home in Berts.

Gingerbread Candle £13.95 - Berts

Now Firstly, lets not sugar coat this, it wasn't cheap at all, even most Christmas Yankee Candles are cheaper than this one and come with slightly more candle in them. However, the availability of another Gingerbread candle in Brighton was non existent, and I was absolutely in love with this! I was literally thinking about it for days, so it definitely wasn't a spur of the moment buy. The smell itself is simple, I don't need to go into the tones with you because it is what it says on the tin, and literally smells like ginger bread men! It's not overwhelmingly strong when burnt which is good because I was slightly worried it would be over powering. The only thing I would say is for the price, the material surrounding the candle is very cheap (think see through plastic) - Yankee and Jellybean candles both are made of glass or much sturdier materials. But other than that the Candle itself is amazing. They also do a smaller one in a glass cup with gold stars on for £12, so if you have a Berts near you and you love candles, get down there now!

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend!
