NEW TO MY WARDROBE

The Beauty Basket

Its been a while since the beauty basket graced the blog, but today the basket has made a return and is pretty full! I'm testing out a fair few new things at the moment - some great and some that i'm currently on te fence about.

I spoke about the Trevor Sorbie beautiful blonde shampoo and conditioner* and Dove hair mask earlier this week, so I wont say too much, but they're really helping my blonde ends so I'm super happy.

Last week I caved and joined the club of bloggers that now own La Roche effeclar duo. I was sceptical in the first place and can confirm that my bum is still very firmly on the fence with this one.

I'm also trying out the other blogger favourite that is Nude miracle mask, it's nice but pricey, a full review will be popping up in the next few weeks!

I posted a review a few weeks back on the Lush honey farm gift set an how bloomin' amazing it was and i have to say that the It's raining men shower gel has to be my favourite of all time. If you like honey scents, you'll love this! I've also been loading on the L'occitaine almond shower oil when my skin feels like it needs a little more TLC, it's perfect for slightly dryer skins!

Over the past few weeks i've also been delving into the world of drugstore concealers. My most recent purchases being the Bourjois healthy mix and Rimmel wake me up concealers. They're both medium-ish coverage with non cakey finishes. Love, love, love.

Finally the Look blush in Flirt was purchased in their half price sale - one of those complete whim moments which actually pays off - it's a bright pinky coral shade with shimmer running through. In my eyes this is a much cheaper version of the Laura Mercier blush in Lush Nectarine.

So that's it for my latest conquests, but it won't be too long until the next one - today is payday, tax repayment day and Friday, so things are bound to be purchased in a post work splurge!

Hope you all have a lovely Friday!
