NEW TO MY WARDROBE

The Sunday Post: January Reading List

Right now we are six days into 2013 (obviously...), this months magazines have been purchased, and I am sick and back in my bed. Again. It was nice of my immune system to keep on trucking over Christmas, but now we've hit the new year, my white blood cells have gone on vacation. Cue the perfect opportunity to shift through the new magazines and books that together are making up my January Reading List.

I picked up The Perks of Being a Wallflower a few months back now, and I think it will be the perfect reading material for traveling to work as it's fairly small and lightweight. I really wish I'd been able to get my hands on the original cover though so I think I might end up owning two copies of this!

After watching season one and two of The Walking Dead over Christmas, I ended up stealing the boys copy of the Zombie Survival Guide. It's one of my biggest irrational fears and for some reason I feel compelled to feed it! This weekend I also picked up a copy of Blog Inc. I'd seen it in Urban Outfitters a few times and uhmmed and ahrrred over buying it, but after realising it has gone into the sales I felt compelled to pick it up. Thoughts so far? I understand a fair amount already, but if you're new to blogging there are some really helpful chapters inside.

That's it for the reading list this month, I'm thinking of dedicating a post a month to The Reading List - other than writing on here, reading is my favourite pastime (as long as we don't factor in Eastenders). In other news this week: I'm currently uploading a Top Five Lipsticks and have a haul and make up storage in the pipe line - all hail the new lighting!

  13. Perks of being a wallflower is one of my favourite books. When I heard the film was coming out I wasn't sure if I wanted to see it though. I always worry that a motion picture will ruin my idea of how things were in the book. :p
