Gone Fishing by Topshop was included in the stash of hybernating summer brights, and in all honesty, I never thought that it would grace my nails again. But stranger things have definitely happened and whilst sporting an all black outfit and my Topshop Lipstick in Inhibition, I found myself looking a little... Moody? I'm a chirpy little bird when it comes down to it, so I felt there needed to be a tiny bit of balance to the slightly emo look I had going on.
The spring/summer nail polish box was raided and low and behold, Gone Fishing was plucked out. I applied a nude polish first to ensure there was no white nail showing through, and then applied two light coats (one normal coat will probably do - I just seem to like applying nail polish in stupidly thin layers). It added a perfect pop of colour to my gothic attire and even brightened up my neutral and grey jumper days at work - lasting for a full five days before one bit chipped and I ended up picking it all off - naughty.
If you want a mint green that is very pigmented and very green (not these pale or mint blue wishy-washy shades) this is for you. It's cheap as chips (sort of... it depends on the chip shop...) and is a great spring/summer shade - even though it's February. But let's just ignore that...
P.S My rings are in a set from New Look for around £5 if you were wondering!
