The Review: Origins Make A Difference Plus Moisturiser

Warning: rave review approaching - fasten your debit cards and proceed with caution.

A few weeks back I ran out of the heavier moitsuriser I had been using - and not really loving - and had literally been using my day moisturiser both day and night. Bad idea, I know. My skin had gotten into a bit of a state and was starting to look seriously dull. Things started getting desperate so I knew it was time to invest in a little pot of Origins goodness I'd had my eye on for a while...

The Origins Make A Difference Plus Moisturiser has had countless reviews - I think I've probably read them all - so I was expecting good things. From what I had read I knew that the moisturiser would be better for my skin type as the treatment is more for dry skins and the moisturiser for normal/dehydrated skin. I wasn't expecting to see results straight away but I started by using it both day and night. From the first few days of use my skin looked far more hydrated (even before moisturising) than it usually would. It feels softer and I'm actually starting to use less product each time I apply as it has become less dehydrated. Result! I now tend to just use it at night unless my skin really needs it.

Another reason I'm head over heels for this is because it also smells amazing! I was extremely wary of the fact that it was scented as that is a recipe for breakouts, however I have 0 breakouts and my face smells like a little piece of heaven! This used prior to the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser is a winning formula for super dewy/glowing skin too!

Being an Origins product, you know this moisturiser won't be cheap and for £33 it not, but as I tell most people when they ask me about skincare - if I'd spent that on a pair of shoes I'd 100% spend the same on my face!

  1. aw I love it when moisturizer smell good!
I have heard so many good things about this product, gotta give it a try sometime :)

  2. Haha- great motto to live by! Your right- why is it okay to spend so much on something that goes on our feet and not okay to spend much on our face!

  3. This sounds so great, shame about the price but I agree with your final comment! xxx

  4. Sounds amazing, I love it when a product smells nice too, that is a huge bonusxx

  5. I totally agree with your final comment, your face is the first thing people see and you wear it everyday so cost per wear on that moisturiser is going to be very low haha!!

  12. I'm almost done with my nightamins, so I think I'll be trying this! Thanks for the review.

  13. I have to correct one thing in this post: The Make a difference Treatment is for Oily/Combination skin and not for dry skin ;)
I have a sample of this moisturiser and I will try it tomorrow.

  14. I' tried this by coincidence, I got a small sample for free, ...and it was really a miracle on my skin - I have never had such a comfortable soft skin ever before in my life. I can recommend it!
