NEW TO MY WARDROBE

The Style Post: That Zara Scarf...

Scarf - Zara | Faux Leather Jacket - Miss Selfridge

Happy Friday Amigos! I thought I'd kick of LFW with a mini style post today: As you have probably heard form my many rants - I both love and lothe the Zara sale that kicks off every January, refusing the leave until it's well into March, half the shop descends into mess and chaos. I walk past with my hands over my eyes and squint for the "new collection" signs. Yesterday was a different story however, after a serious haircut that left me feeling more on the bald side (don't panic I'm not, I just wasn't as ready to part with the dead ends as I thought), I popped into Zara and treated myself to one of their gorgeous scarfs that I'd been lusting after for months now - the perfect post haircut cover up.

Why I hadn't picked one up sooner is beyond me, the material is gorgeous (although what it's made of is currently beyond me as I've cut out the excessively long label and Google is not co-operating) and the shade range is so up my street. Perfectly minimalist, I was torn between your standard black, burgundy, a deep green or this gorgeous charcoal grey. Needless to say I went for the grey - It's perfect for making my obligatory all black outfits - not all black? Nearly anyway...

These are currently in the sale and seeing as we have at least two months of freezing left - I think it would be silly not to invest for £15.99. Be it leather, faux leopard print or light floral jackets in spring, this gorgeous grey just blends and ties everything together. And covers your hair. I jest, it's just had a trim and I'm being a major drama queen - the full do will appear on the blog early next week.

Oh and big props to my little bro for the photos and OOTD Vlog he helped me shoot - what a babe! He also has a Canon 600D. I know, somethings wrong here...

  6. I bought 2 of these scarves last winter - a dark camel and a black. They're 'cashmere feel' and are great basics to add to any wardrobe - nice!

  19. That is such a lovely, versatile scarf! Great find. Your hair looks love too! Haircuts always seem a bit extreme at first, don't they? But your hair is still a good length! Xo
