NEW TO MY WARDROBE

The Style Post: Bank Holiday Wears

It feels like it's been so long since I last cracked out a style post, and that's probably because it has been. The weather in the uk has been so bad there's been very little opportunity for me to get outside. Luckily both the boyfriend and brother reluctantly volunteered themselves this weekend.

The outfit above is my Easter Sunday outfit, we popped off to visit family in the evening before retuning to Josh's where his mum had made us the most heavenly casserole. It was a very good day.

You might have seen on Instagram (@suzieebee) last weekend that I posted an outfit with my new leather-look skirt. At £25 from miss selfridge, it's no where near a leather knock off at all, it basically sits between leather and wet look. Weird, yes, but I actually really like it, and it adds a little something to an all black outfit. I wanted something fitted to wear on top, but unfortunately most of my black tops had gone walkies in my spring clean (worrying) so I wore my American apparel black body con dress underneath.

As usual it was super cold so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to get some wear out of my leopard print faux fur coat. Safe to say I was snug as a bug! This is an old find from new look but I actually picked it up from eBay a few years back. The girl I bought it from wrapped it up in pink paper with a bow and everything. I've seen people still managing to find these on eBay so it's worth taking a look if you like it.

To top it all off I had Baker Street by Nails Inc on my nails, I don't even like blue normally but this caught my eye and has had so many compliments over the weekend!

I love this outfit and snuggling up in coats but I cannot wait for it to heat up a bit - is wanting to wear jeans and a t-shirt that much to ask?! On the bright side, layers are much more forgiving on my current food baby full of sweet and salty popcorn... My bad.

  14. This is such a cute outfit! I absolutely adore that faux fur coat. I've been wanting one for the longest time, but just haven't found the perfect one yet. I've just started getting into above the knuckle rings, which surprisingly, not many 'real life' people have heard about! They think I'm not wearing my rings properly, lol.

I have seen a lot of faux leather skater skirts around, especially in Topshop, but I like this one, I have seen it in store.

  24. Gorgeous coat and the nail colour is lovely, i get way to shy when buying new polish colours as i'm usually seen in nude pinks and the occasional subtle red, blue would be so very daring for me! xx
