NEW TO MY WARDROBE

The Skincare Post: On the road again...

Day two of my daily commute to London this week - getting home late and spending hours on a train is not my dream, I have to just put that out there. Adding the signing of flat agreements and attempting to cook healthy meals for two, you start to forget what early nights even mean anymore.

I digress, when it comes to crawling out of bed in the morning - looking a tad like a mole - I reach for three products that help give my skin a good kick up the bum:

After my usual morning cleanse, I douse a cotton pad with the caudalie beauty elixir and sweep it all over my face. My skin seems to go from dull to glowing in one sweep, the perfect morning pick me up (full review coming soon). I then follow with a blob (to use the technical term) of Hudraluron, this helps any moisturiser used after cling to the skin and keeps my skin moisturised for longer. My moisturiser of choice in the morning is always the Origins Make A Difference Plus Moisturiser*. With one tub stolen by the boyfriend I was very lucky to be sent a second one. It's not too heavy and gives my skin a healthy, hydrated glow like nothing else I've tried.

Skincare done, then I'm out the door and  on to the train... See you at 9pm folks!

  2. It seems that the Caudalie Elixir is a series contender for product of the moment. I have read a lot of stellar reviews on this, unfortunately it is not available in South Africa. I am keen to try the Hydraluron and as it has just launched here, I definitely need to see if it's as great as everyone says it is.

  3. I really want to try this Origins moisturiser or maybe the treatment version, I've heard good things about both. I think I may have to give in! And to keep you going, just think how exciting moving into a new flat will be! :) xx

  13. Have you tried the Origins Make a Difference Plus Rejuvenating Treatment? I got a sample of it and I like it a lot. I don't think it's quite as moisturizing but if you use it with Hydraluron, maybe it'll still be moisturizing!
