NEW TO MY WARDROBE

The Review: Balance Me Radiance Face Oil

In my world there are three things my friends know me well for 1) always being that person with double digit quantities of pens rolling around in her bag, 2) always making rubbish cups of tea (at least i'm consistent) and 3) having enough skincare products to hydrate/exfoliate/cleanse the south east of England. Consequently, when I take on new skincare items I have to mull over it for a bit. But when it comes to Balance Me there's only one answer to "do I need it?"... YES.

The Radiance Face Oil* had been on my list of products to hunt down for some time now. I tend to avoid hunting it down in Brighton as it's only stocked in one store that smells highly suspicious (but get excited - they're rolling out in Debenhams soon!), so when it landed on my door step I was like a kid at christmas, and for once couldn't wait to get my makeup off. I apply two to three drops after cleansing and toning, pre moisturiser and the product applies like a dream without clinging to my hands at all. It sinks in quickly and once sandwiched it in between my toner and moisturiser my skin is left feeling hydrated without being overly greasy. I tend to do this around twice a week, at least 20 minutes before I go to sleep to avoid all of my skincare transferring straight onto the pillow (note: this is standard procedure in my skincare routine anyway).

So, once applied my skin is left feeling hydrated, without feeling clogged or greasy, but the next morning? It's fair to say I spent a good few minutes marvelling at my skin. It looks radiant, glowing and hydrated and has given the oomph to my skincare routine that it was missing. What could make it better? Oh, yeah, the oil is 100% natural. Have I convinced you yet? Autumn skincare staple: Sorted.

Note: The Balance Me Radiance Face Oil claims to be for all skin types. I have normal - oily skin and it doesn't make my skin any oilier than usual throughout the day. If you have any questions it's best to tweet me (@hello_october_)!

  1. Sounds interesting! As someone with dry skin I'm never worried of rich, moisturizing products, especially with the colder weather rolling in, thanks so much :)

  6. I've never thought of using an oil on my face before. I'm obsessed with putting them on my hair, but not my skin. It's good to hear that you've got oily skin and it didn't seem to make it any oilier. I generally use a serum between my toning and moisturizing - would you replace this with an oil a couple of nights a week?

  9. Hey, I really love your Blog and your Youtube Videos. Your products are sometimes really expensive, for young starting girls like me, maybe you could do a everyday makeup look, with really cheap things, or less products to use, so it won't get over our budget... Your style is great and I was wondering, if you could give me (us) some tips on how to stay confident, some buying tips, maybe interoir or also tips on how to make such a great design ♡

I hope to see you on my Blog, too, love Thyra ♡ http://taykure.blogspot.com
