NEW TO MY WARDROBE

The Style Post: The Film Edition

What do you do when you have four frames left on your film camera? Outfit photos, obviously... My boyfriend did raise his eyebrows and so did a woman walking an adorable dog, but needs must. We were on our way to do a little food shop and get some breakfast... Naturally a milkshake counts as breakfast in my world.

Stripes are my go to for dressing down an outfit, they make something look comfy and casual but pull everything together at the same time. With Paris on the cards at the end of the month, I thought it was about time to add another to my collection of Cos and H&M striped numbers. I saw this one in Zara and quite literally ran to the till with it - a cropped, long sleeved number in a large size for a slouchy fit. Perfect. Did I mention it also cost me £12? Bargain.

On me it's not so cropped so I can wear it with most jeans and only flash a little skin, but seeing as we were doing a food shop in a family friendly environment, I thought it would be best to wear my Topshop Joni jeans. I have a love-hate relationship with these; they came with a broken button and just don't fit like my leigh jeans, but they're thick and warm and have retained their colour like a dream. They work perfectly with my mini flatforms from New Look - food shop appropriate? No. Incredibly pretty? Yes!

I rounded the whole thing off with my orange Zara shopper, some sunnies, and a mop of hair that is well overdue a wash. Classy as always, Suz.

  3. You look lovely as aways, Suzie! Are the Topshop Joni's extremely more high waisted than the Leighs or just slightly? x
