NEW TO MY WARDROBE

Just Landed: Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush

Being neither a blush nor Hourglass fan, I was surprised when the announcement of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush's release had me heart eye'd and drooling. It took me so long to decide on a shade, but last week I bit the bullet and ended up following my gut and going with Diffused Heat - my original choice - DOH.

The beautiful golden casing carries a swirl of blush and highlighting powder, giving a lit from within finish to the skin. The blush's are far more pigmented than I imagined, so my shade in Diffused Heat (a strong peachy-pink/red colour with a luminous cool toned highlight), will be sticking with me for a while. I don't think I've ever really felt the need to tap off some of the product on the back of my hand before! I'm currently applying it with a small brush I had lying around, but I have a feeling that a duo fibre brush would work amazingly with this shade as it's so pigmented.

And now for the little details... You can order them online in the UK from Space NK (who might currently be doing free delivery?) for £28. Pricey, yes. But they will last. Do I want more shades? Naturally. Dim Infusion, I'm coming for you...
