NEW TO MY WARDROBE

The Sunday Post: A Stones Throw.

This week has been a long and stressful one, with flashbacks to what work was like coming out of the Olympic summer. I won't be expecting to be finishing at 6pm or getting time off any time soon! I'm not really one for exercise other than my walk to work and the occasional post night out run, so to let off some steam Josh and I took some time out yesterday afternoon to throw stones in the sea.

It's the best time of year for it as no one is around (bar one guy with a metal detector - brilliant!) and it's not too cold. Stone throwing is surprisingly therapeutic, the sounds and sea smells also tend to help too - even if the sea was showing more variants of grey than my wardrobe. Once we arrived home we watched a few episodes of American Horror Story and got ready to go out for dinner - our local pub does the best food and we finally dragged the best friend in there (goes without saying she gave it a thumbs up too).

Today I'm very excited to be popping up to London for a bit to see a very lovely lady - keep an eye on my Instagram to find out who. I may also raid H&M Home and Muji for some house bits on my way back too - In need of some serious storage solutions for pretty much every room in the flat - but especially my beauty stash. That being said - the question I'm going to leave you guys with today is: How do you store your skincare? Answers on a postcard please. Just kidding - comments will do.

  3. I basically have a whole shelf of my bookshelf dedicated to skincare. It looks like a shop and I look a bit like a psycho with OCD, but I love it.

  4. My skincare storage is horrific, but I don't feel like buying something to store it right now because I want to move to England in summer and moving with lots of big pieces is probably not that great. I really miss living by the sea, I loved walking in the stones with the salt in the air and the sound of the waves :) Have a nice day in London! xx

  5. My skincare is strewn between a shower caddy and a bathroom rack. It's not the best, but it'll do for now. (:

  14. You look stunning Suzie :) I don't have a skincare storage because I move from my parent's house to my student apartment every week! So my skincare products are on a shelf during the week and in a bag for the week-end. Not that cool. But I tend to sort different skincare products: makeup remover together, cream, cleanser...

  22. I store half of my skincare in my bathroom in a section behind my mirror (similar to a cabinet with a mirror door), and the other half is just there next to my makeup stash. I would reccomend you a small cabinet, they come really handy and you can easily find them from Ikea;)

  29. Skincare storage is the bain of my life - literally, there is no perfect way! Muji drawers are great for cosmetics but skincare just falls out of my bathroom cupboard like an avalanche every time. I now have one of those big plastic shoe storage boxes under my bed where I keep the things I'm not currently using!

  41. You look beautiful, as does the beach. Sounds like a perfect weekend!

My answer to your question is on a little shelf in my room, and leftovers in a box of clutter. I really need to be more grown up with my storage...but first I need more grown up skincare!
