NEW TO MY WARDROBE

Latest Skincare Loves

Over the past few months I've introduced a few new skincare products into my daily routine, and it's been completely solid for a good month now. My skin is the happiest it's been in a long time and an updated skincare routine is most definitely due. Until then, I thought I'd talk you through my latest skincare loves...

The first of the two I had expected to love, the Sarah Chapman Intense Hydrating Booster has been raved about by so many people, including the lovely Amelia. Despite this, I didn't expect it to be that good. Estee Lauder ANR, all the facial oils and Overnight Facial ain't got nothin' on this one. If there was any high end skincare item that I believe is worth the price tag, it's this. It's like a more glow giving, plumping version of Hydraluron, with a less tacky formula and a more luxe feel. It's almost like the undo button (in serum formula) for days when far too much caffeine or lack of water occur. My skin is one happy chappy and as soon as it runs out I will be running to Space NK to repurchase it!

And then we have Benefit's Dream Screen. The lightest (and most liquid-y) SPF I've ever tried with a non greasy finish, I've tried offerings in the past from La Roche Posay, Sarah Chapman and Vichy, but none of them have given the finish that this one gives. It's almost matte, but not quite, with no white sheen in sight. I'm a fan...

  4. I love the sound of the Sarah Chapman serum, I just wish it wasn't quite so dear. The items I have tried from the Benefit skin range are gorgeous though, might have to give the SPF a go at some point.

  24. Did you use the La Roche-Posay cream or ultra-light fluid? I have just done a blog post on the latter which I'm loving... But after reading your blog on the Benefit Dream Screen I feel like I should try that too! This is why I am poor... haha. Rosie therosieglow.com

  25. I've been loving the Dream Screen as well, it has that liquid consistency that allows me to mix it with any moisturizer without SPF and it adds the SPF in it. (:
