NEW TO MY WARDROBE

The Sunday Post: Tapas and Tragus Piercings

This is one of those mornings where I type up a blog post and make myself hungry - so I apologise for doing the same to any of you. Yesterday Luce came to Brighton and we did something stupid (as my mum would coin it) and something genius. The latter was go for tapas. Genius. It was ridiculously good. But before that? We went and got new piercings. I genuinely think I'm getting worse at handling them with age, which is a shame as I'm a massive fan of them. We vlogged our day so you'll see more of that on my channel soon. But back to the Tapas...

I think I might have to try making some of this at home over the next few days, as this was too good to only have once in a blue moon. We ordered bread with a garlic dip and two Fantas straight away - I know, I know - this place does amazing wine and we go for Fanta? But we just weren't feeling having a wine head today. We then decided on the Chorizo stewed in sherry (I think it was sherry - Luce, correct me if I'm wrong) and their hand cut chips with an assortment of dips - delicious. We also forgot that we'd ordered a portion of the meatballs and chicken breast too, and were very happy to see them when they arrived a little later (the tables there are too tiny for all the food, so they stagger things a little).

You can also bet anything that when you go you'll end up sitting far too close for your liking to a complete stranger, as the place is just so small and narrow, but it add to the charm, right?

  8. Oh I love tragus piercings! I had mine done, but after a year of aching and infections I had to take it out. Am still tempted to do it over, but I only have one tragus left - and I'm not sure if I can face it all again. Can't wait to hear your input on it, as you're quite experienced when it comes to piercings. :)

  9. I can't understand you more about handling pain with age ahah I start getting my very first piercing at age 17 and now that I'm 25, I have about 20ish of them and it seems I can feel the pain more everytime, even if the part of the body should be less painful. Ugh... sometimes I feel it's like we're becoming more aware of our body with time and less oblivious !
BTW, you look gorgeous and you did make me hungry ahah

  41. The Tapas looks incredible!! Tragus piercings aren't the most comfortable of experiences. Make sure you get rubber squishy earphones (you know what I mean) if you listen to a lot of music on the go. I have both my tragus' pierced and normal earphones are killer!
