We met at the salon and were treated to blow dries and makeup touch ups before being whisked off in our cars to the launch. New Look have refurbished all four floors - now making it the most beautiful New Look store I've ever seen. The visual merchandising by the front is possibly the most beautiful I've seen in a very long time (all the mannequins have silver hair and I was more than a tad jealous) and their party wear looks incredible (the floor length silver dress will be mine).
We made our way upstairs where we were seated in the VIP section and were greeted with a surprise at 8pm. A few of the XFactor contestants were playing and I was quite possibly the most excited I've been in a while! Jack Walton played and he sounds so amazing live and was an absolute babe - he now also knows my feelings as I declared my love using #PartyReady and it was read out on stage in front of him - DOH. It was such a good night - I have a little vlog of it coming up later this week so keep your eyes peeled.
I wore a black embellished cami with leather look trousers, over the knee boots and a black & silver clutch, all from New Look. The boots were my favourite part. I cannot get enough of them and were so amazed by how comfortable they were (didn't even need to take them off on the way back to Brighton - woop!) and how well they fitted to the shape of my legs. Normally over the knee boots swamp me and don't fit right but these were perfect. I've also tried on a number of other over the knee boots from New Look and they're so beautiful that I'm feeling the need to collect them all!
As I was making such a statement with the shoes I decided to keep the rest of my outfit minimal and black, mixing textures to keep things interesting. New Look are amazing when it comes to mixing textures - which might be why half of my winter wardrobe is New Look (haul coming soon)!
