NEW TO MY WARDROBE

Wrapping It Up

This one goes out to everyone still yet to finish their wrapping (or gift buying in general). This morning for the first time in December I felt my inner Christmas fairy emerge and wrapped my first present at 8am. After a quick sweep around Paperchase on Friday I decided on a brown paper/twine/pine theme for our gift wrapping this year. It's super festive, but very neutral without verging on tacky or too plain. I decided the pine was the perfect finishing touch as we have some real pine branches that will be thrown away soon anyway.

Not only is is budget friendly, but it compliments other present colour schemes perfectly. Perfect if you have housemates that have different ideas when it comes to gift wrapping (my favourite is  brown pine wrapping mixed with monochrome, geometric patterns).

To top it all off, this year I've enjoyed adding a decorative touch to the bow - leaves, pine cones, charms or tags all compliment a bow of twine or ribbon really beautifully and wraps everything up in one neat little bow (literally).
