NEW TO MY WARDROBE

A Night at the W Hotel, Leicester Square.

A Night at the W Hotel, Leicester Square.

Over the past year I've had the pleasure of staying in a lot of hotels and giving them a mini review for you all. It started back in January, where I joked that hotel reviews probably wouldn't become a "thing" on H.O. At that time I had no idea what this year had in store for me but there have been a lot of over night stays across the world and a lot of hotels that just take your breath away.  After spending a week in the W Hotel Barcelona last May, I crossed my fingers that it's Leicester Square counterpart would be just as good should I ever have the opportunity to visit.

Finally, last week, the time came when I was in need of a place to rest my head after the Topshop & Bloglovin' dinner. As I packed my bags and boarded my train to London, it felt a little bit like Christmas (yes, hotel stays make me that excited. Don't judge me.) A few hours later I checked in to my Studio Suit at the W in Leicester Square and took a running jump on to it's enormous crisp, perfectly made bed, swiftly followed by raiding the mini bar (standard Suzie) and taking advantage of it's walk in waterfall shower.

Each of the hotels has a consistent theme throughout, with tweaks to the decor that represent the city around you. The Leicester Square hotel feels a touch more modern and quirky than the others and the fun doesn't stop when you leave your room. The hotel is decked out in disco balls throughout the main lobby and it's main restaurant area feels cosy (complete with a mini fire and little corners to tuck yourself away in), whilst retaining it's contemporary feel. (There is also a festive drinks menu that's about to land - I may have had a sneak peek and it's rather delicious!) The whole hotel is so calm and intimate, despite it's size, you almost forget you're right in the heart of London.

Alongside it's amazing restaurant, it also has great Gym facilities and it's AWAY Spa is totally beautiful. I could have stayed for weeks on end! Coming back to my messy little home with a full suitcase to unpack definitely brought me back down to earth with a bump!

  14. I think I passed by the W hotel when I was in London. Is it close to Chinatown? I was so intrigued by it, that maybe the next I'm going there, I'll probably stay there! Lovely post, Suzie! x and btw, you're not the only one who gets excited over hotels. Their beds are always so comfy!

  26. I really like this hotel. More so the second time round. It's the staff. They are quirky, funny, down to earth and with fantastic sense of humors. Everyone I have met there is just great. Yes the hotel is trendy and the bar crowd can be too partish but the hotel is a great place. I'll be back W.

  32. Had a lovely stay here in winter. Didn't eat or drink in the hotel as there were too many nice places to try around London. However we did have breakfast one morning. The room service was spot on and one of the best breakfasts I have ever eaten. Very modern design, and beautiful features. Staff also very helpful. Overall amazing.

  34. Excited my life is back My husband and I have been together for almost 11 years in October. The way we met wasn’t the best way since we both had relationships. We ended our relationships to be together (or so I thought we BOTH did). As soon as I ended up pregnant with our first baby, I find out he was cheating with his EX! My world went upside down. It was very hard for me since I was pregnant and hurt. Over the years I just kept forgiving him over and over again of not only multiple affairs, but of his accusations of me being unfaithful and disrespecting me. We now have 3 kids and I just completely felt neglected and felt low of myself. I had my own affair… It has not been easy for BOTH of us to overcome. Somehow over the last few weeks we have been working together to move on. We are now moving out of state. I love my husband and I am positive he loves me. I am going to try and show him this approach. Somehow we were already doing it! We have a better communication than we’ve had in years! We are learning how to speak calmly out feelings and concerns. It hasn’t been peachy, but I can see that we both are starting to respect eachother. We care for each other’s feelings. We have US a main priority. We aren’t taking counseling, but somehow we see that little by little we seem more comfortable with eachother. Sometimes we may notice how good it is going and may step back, but helping eachother out by holding and saying it’s ok to be happy again. I love my family. and my husband and i need to keep my marriage save with him from other women so i have to seek for a love spell to keep our marriage stronger so i contacted Dr happy who help me to keep my marriage save and secure from other women am very happy today coz my husband love me more and more like ever before, we are living as one big family again bless Dr happy for what he did to me and my husband if you need help contact him too he is real and 100% guarantee ok so email him at : happylovespell2@gmail.com call +2348133873774 about his service and web site: http://happyspelltemple.webs.com/
