Today's gift guide is one for the more affordable - but still totally great - christmas gifts. I've popped a few favourites of mine in here amongst new launches that beauty lovers would be more than happy to unwrap on Christmas day.
My first heads up for anyone who's struggling for gifts, whatever the budget, is always LUSH. They do gift boxes in all different sizes and prices but you can also buy individuals and make your own DIY gift package for a loved one.
For YouTube and blog lovers the Estée Lalonde Nail Art Kit is brilliant and the colours are so wearable - it's also perfect for anyone who loves a bit of nail art (obviously). Then there's the Tanya Burr Advent Calendar (or any TB gift set for that matter). Her products are great quality and are at such an affordable price - I'm currently loving opening her advent calendar daily! If you have a YouTube lover who's also a big reader - the Glam Guide by Fleur De Force is a brilliant read and so beautifully presented, your giftee will have their head in this one all Christmas day.
If you have a little magpie on your present list, the L'Oreal festive nail polishes will always be a winner in my books. They're so heavily laden with glitter that your little magpie should be sufficiently pleased with this one. For an eye shadow/palette fiend I can only recommend the Zooeva Cocoa Blends Palette because it is my absolute favourite and it's so affordable. The quality of the shadows are incredible and it comes wrapped like chocolate, which makes unwrapping it on Christmas day that little more interesting... or disappointing depending on how you look at it.
There are a few more books before I wrap this gift guide up; How to be Parisian, this one is the kind of book you see everywhere - there's a trend for these kinds of books being sold in Urban Outfitters, and I usually find them a little more style over substance, but I do love the way this one is written. Reading it actually inspires me to sit and write myself. Big Magic is one I haven't finished yet, but so many people have recommended as a great read - if you have someone who's working in a creative industry this might fit the bill! And finally for the beauty lovers and beauty newbies alike, Pretty Honest by Sally Hughes is a detailed read on different areas of beauty. From buying the right foundation to getting your brows threaded, she covers everything in perfect detail.
