LONDON FASHION WEEK: SATURDAY 17TH SEPT.
I know what you're thinking, " A BLOG POST FROM SUZIE?! WTF??". There's just something about Fashion Week that gets me back in to the swing of things. Maybe it's because I'm better at posting in real-ish time? Who knows. But I really loved my outfit from Saturday and I couldn't wait to show you! I was attending the House of Holland show with St. Tropez and opted for something a little bit more striking than usual in the form of my new Tommy Hilfiger x Gigi Hadid Military Jacket. I love it so much and even though things went a little down the pirate/marching band/MJ tribute route with the over all look I still felt comfortable. I think it came down to the relaxed vibe of the outfit, which only really evolved with the addition of the jacket.
Underneath I wore one of my favourite purchases of this year, a white sheer high neck blouse from Y.A.S. I adore this and have been wearing it from Spring straight through to Autumn. It's such a versatile piece. I paired it with my ASOS Girlfriend Jeans (an old pair but there are plenty of similar pair still in stock), printed scarf from Sophie Darling around the waist, and Gucci loafers from LUISA VIA ROMA. These are one of the most comfortable pairs of flats I've ever owned, and keep an outfit looking smart, but relaxed at the same time. I definitely chose practicality over the overall look on this occasion as I think a pair of stilettos or chunky heels would have totally made this look, but at the same time would be totally impractical for rushing through Spitafields Market.
HOUSE OF HOLLAND S/S17
Backstage at House of Holland, St Tropez brought the glow to the show with their amazing tans and a few new launches too. They used the Instant Tan Wash Off Face and Body Lotion all over the body, buffing in with the St Tropez Body Mitt, followed by the New St Tropez 3 in 1 Instant Bronzer on the shoulders and collarbones to give a dusty suntickled glow. The show itself was incredible, with so much colour, gingham and off the shoulder (yesss to more off shoulder action next summer)!
