Around three weeks ago now, I was browsing my ever growing stash of nail polishes for the perfect holiday colour. It needed to last, look pretty but also be the perfect colour to go with my holiday wardrobe. The result? War paint by Topshop…
Almost a neon red, War Paint manages to look fine with even contrasting shades – put it down to the facts its a variation of a classic red. The formula for the majority of the Topshop polishes i’ve used have been amazing – paint one hand, go on to the next, and the first hand is then dry for it’s second coat! It also is fairly good with regards to streaks. I’m trying out the AA Neon polishes at the moment, and all I can say until the review is “streak city!”
The next best thing is, besides a nail that broke on the last day. There was not one chip the whole week, I used a standard Collection 2000 base, and a Rimmel topcoat (which really isn’t a topcoat to be sneared at might it add! I recommend!) but even without those, I have had this last for around 6 days – pretty fantastic!
This week I rediscovered my love of nail polish and, after a mini splurge, have completely filled up my storage space. I think I might have a new new posts coming up about my favourites!
