The Sunday Post: Beauty Ramblings

It’s safe to say, when I instagramed the photo above of me (let’s face it – making a bloody mess!) in my hotel room in London, a lot of you loved it, and wanted to see a post. As I write this, I’m still not even sure where to begin, but we all know I love a good ramble, don’t we?

When packing for London, it may not seem it, but we really did pack light. I chose some essential pampering products – the origins Clear Improvement mask and James Brown moisturising hair mask – and then threw in my current shampoo and conditioner, Treseme clarifying shampoo and dove nourishing express treatment conditioner. We also picked up a few soap and glory buys whilst we were there to add to the beauty stash. On the skin care side of things, I kept things simple, my embriolise moisturiser and Hydraluron and origins eye doctor cream, with the usual suspect for my lips – the Nivea honey and milk lip balm.

For make up, I wanted to layer medium to light coverage products in an attempt to protect my skin from “tube air”. Most products were mentioned in my last post, but I’m sure I failed to mention MACs Peach Stock, my current lipstick of choice. I also popped a little Rimmel blush into the mix, but in all honesty I’m a bit bored of blush at the moment and have enjoyed using the Chanel Bronze Universal (or what ever we call it now) a whole lot more.

Hope that was rambley enough for you guys! It’s probably been far more interesting than this weekends activities – knitting scarves and planning some halloweeny goodness!
