Blazer – H&M | Top – ASOS | Leggings – Oh My Love* | Heels – Independent seller | Bag – Zara | Studded Bracelet – Matalan | Ring – Accessorize | Necklace – Topshop
I’m a massive fan of a comfy pair of leggings. Anyone who reads my style posts or hauls will know this. So when I was gifted these leggings by Oh My Love, one of my favourite brands that are sold in Topshop, I was a tad excited!
Oh My Love are one of my go-to brands for party outfits, from dresses to trousers, if I want something that will take an outfit from day to night – I take a little peek at their website. In just over a week its the 21st birthday of one of my wonderful collage friends, and whilst I need to prepare for a night full of her amazingly abusive sense of humour, I’m also aware it’s a “school night” and I need a piece that will take me from work mode to club mode, whilst keeping my warm at the same time.
Cue gold spotted velvet leggings. Sounds horrible when you say it, but I love the way they look with a pair of (fake) Litas and a black blazer. After taking these photos I was whisked off to see Gangster Squad, and simply swapped my Litas for a pair of vans and I was good to go. So they work for day time too as long as you keep it simple.
Screw risking looking like a disco ball, I love them, they’ll keep me warm, and may even be thick enough to save me scraping my knees when I fall over (which is certain to happen – especially in those shoes!) – such a co-ordinated lady.
My departing note? 10 points to any of you who have noticed that my hair is lighter, my hairdresser and I went for a very subtle ombre on new years eve!
