Dungarees – Topshop | T-shirt – Cos | Jacket – Miss Selfridge | Tights – ASOS | Boots – Debenhams | Nails – Models Own “Hedonist”
Dungarees, every one has had a pair – even my boyfriend when he was very little, he used to call them “Ted Glens” after the Postman Pat charter – hence the title! Everyone that is, except me. It’s taken 21 years but two weeks ago I finally picked up my first pair a few weeks ago in Topshop.
Bleached denim with rolled up bottoms, these babies are nice and flattering on my petite figure (Note: I didn’t even need to search the petite section), and work amazingly well with most tops and shirts I own. Paired with tights and boots in the winter, or bare legs and sandals in the summer – these are actually more versatile that I ever imagined before purchasing them. An all year round piece for £38? Narrow that down to cost per wear and you’re golden.
For work I like to pair these with shirts underneath, but on the weekend when I’m making slightly less effort, I like to throw them on over my striped Cos t-shirt. This top is the bargain of all bargains when it comes to Cos, rolling in at a wee £12 amongst an array of £50 tops, and looks down right adorable under dungarees.
Some people aren’t the biggest fans when it comes to dungarees, but I’m firmly in the “love” party on this one!
