Note to self: Don’t fall asleep writing Sundays blog post again. The Sunday post was originally planned for 9am, but after falling asleep post party and mid blog post this clearly didn’t happen. I’ve had the busiest week (again) and I’m actually looking forward to moving purely because of the time off work/blog and anything that isn’t nesting (Note: normal blog service will continue thanks to the wonder that is scheduled posting and no sleep).
On Thursday I made my way up to London from Brighton to see two of my favourite ladies EVER. Luce and Lauren one of my favourite things to come out of starting Hello October, and seeing as Luce is moving back up to Durham for a few weeks – leaving Lauren and I as a party of two – we decided to mark the occasion the only way we know how… Eating Pizza. We went to Home Slice a short walk away from my Leicester Square office, and ordered one of their enormous Pizzas to share. It wasn’t too pricey and the pizza is my favourite I’ve ever had. After we felt sufficiently stuffed, we made our way to the Selfridges Beauty Hall where a cheeky “don’t tell the boyfriend” purchase was made – The Georgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation was just calling my name.
Although it was cloudy it was surprisingly warm, so I threw on an old pair of New Look shorts, my trusty Zara V-Neck, Topshop Ambush boots, H&M blazer and my new hat from Missguided which has not left my head this week. Of course, being London and my need for a crazy amount of technical goods, the Zara city bag came with me – Luce and I were clearly on the same thought path on Thursday morning as she used the same one – matchy matchy.
On Friday I met Elisha and did some filming for my next outfit video, before taking a wander down to a pretty fantastic burger place in Brighton and making our way to the Brighton Big Screen – but more on that later this week!
Today I’m sitting down to have a mammoth filming session to prep for moving week, so if there are any requests then pop them in the comments and i’ll see what I can whip up!
Hope you all had a lovely week 🙂 x
