Skincare: The Late Night Skin Saviours

You know how it is. You come home, its very late, and can just about bring yourself to wash your face. Thoughts of a long, laborious skincare routine go out the window and you wake up with dry, tired skin. Been there, done that. But with my recent streak of late nights I’ve found the perfect combination of products that help me cheat my way to 9 hours sleep…

The Origins Drink Up Intensive Over Night Mask is amazing even when my skin is on the more oily side (a goodie all year round really) and has always been my go-to after a few drinks as it stops my skin from looking too dehydrated the next morning. But recently I’ve been adding a drop of the Estee Lauder ANR (old version) and a drop of the Balance Me Radiance Face Oil (review coming next week) to the mask and slapping it all over my face for glowing, healthy looking skin. Can you tell I’ve had no sleep? Hell’s no! Will I be using it tonight? We’ll I’m going out for cocktails so I’ll let you figure that one out…

I have heard only good things about that balance me face oil. I love to have a few products on standby for those nights where you just want to fall into bed after a night out, and not look dead the next morning.

I have the Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask and I don't like it very much. I think I must be the only one… oops!
I really love the smell, but I find this mask so tacky after application. Even when I use the smallest amount, I just don't like the way it feels on my skin!
Any suggestions on "how to use it properly"??

    Love the picture btw!

Love this post! I haven't used my Drink Up Intensive Mask in ageeesss, but Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair is a daily staple for me. Ugh – I wish we could get a hold of Balance Me products in the US.

These products all sound so good combined, especially considering the fact they may make me look slightly more human after the weekend x

I have been using the Estee Lauder ANR for a week now and oh man it is the bomb! I just received a sample of the Origins Drink Up Intensive Over Night Mask too so I cannot wait to see how that works. I have been loading on jojoba oil at night and doing some serious exfoliating when I am lacking sleep.
