I’m going to start this one of my making it super clear that sheet masks are not normally my bag. Scaring myself every time I catch a glimpse of myself in something reflective is not my idea of a good time at all. But Indeed Labs have recently bought out the Hydraluron sheet mask counterpart, and seeing as the serum is slapped on my face at least once a day I thought I’d give it’s new friend a chance.
After my usual double cleanse a few evenings back I popped this over my face – well, when I say “popped” I mean carefully manoeuvred as to not get a mouthful of face mask – and left it on for 10 minutes. After removal I popped the sheet in the bin (which had very little product left on it after the 10 minutes so I’m guessing my skin was a little thirsty) and massaged the remainder of the mask into my skin. I carried on with the rest of my skincare routine as normal and plodded off to bed (oh, the wild life I lead…).
Next morning my skin was noticeably more plump and hydrated than it had been over the past week. It’s a suped up and far more expensive dose of its serum sister, leaving my skin feeling wonderful, but quite the opposite for my bank balance. This makes it unlikely to be whipped out on a daily basis, but for when my skin is suffering or I have a “need to have good skin with minimal effort” moment I’ll be sure to crack this one out.
