When Tanya Burr announced that she would be bringing out her own range of lip gloss and nail polish I was positive I’d be at the front of the queue. Not only is she one of the first YouTubers I ever found (googling Olsen twins hair tutorials, just FYI), I also love supporting other bloggers and YouTubers, so when I was invited to the launch I jumped at the chance. I was lucky enough to come away with a few samples so I thought I’d jot down my thoughts…
I’m actually really pleased that half the range focused completely on Lipgloss, as I’m having a total lipgloss loving phase at the moment! The lip glosses are non-sticky with just the right amount of colour in them, not too sheer, but not too pigmented. I like this as it allows for wearing other colours underneath and creates something a little more unique. If I had to choose between the lip glosses and polishes, I think I would lean more towards the lipgloss (I know, am I feeling okay?). I like the finish and the pale nude to bright red colour range. I have the shade Picnic In The Park (pink) and Champagne Toast (nude shimmer).
The nail polishes come in gorgeous colours, from reds and corals to beautiful pale greys and are far more chip resistant and long lasting than a lot of affordable nail polishes I’ve tried in the past. I have the shade Midnight Sparkle and Peaches and Cream which aren’t necessarily the most “Suzie” shades so I think I’ll be picking a few more up over the next few weeks.
The lip glosses are £6.99* and the nail polishes are £5.99* and can be picked up from Feel Unique if you can’t wait for them to start being stocked in Superdrug!
