A few days back I left the house for six hours, I ran I walked, I even got tattooed and when I arrived home my blush was still perfectly in tact on my little cabbage patch cheeks. How?! Benefit Lolitint.* When it first rolled into my life I wasn’t overly interested in the liquid formula or wowed by the colour (hence the lateness of this “Just Landed” feature), but after reaching for it on a whim I actually found myself coming back to it.
Like a giant nail polish, Lollitint comes in a pot with a brush in the lid. I use the brush to dot a little on to my cheeks, leave it for a few seconds to dry out a little and blend with my finger. Once the blush has started to set on my cheeks I then take my real techniques buffing brush and use it to blend a little more, making sure I have a smooth, un-patchy finish.
I also decided to use it on my lips, to make things a little more matchy-matchy. I applied it by dabbing the product onto the back of my hand and patting it into my lips. This way you can layer up the colour as it dries. The shade you get on the lips is a subtle bubblegum pink, very similar to a full on application of MAC Please Me… Which reminded me to dig that out over the weekend too. A weekend full of pink? I must be coming down with something…
