Last weekend was a four day weekend, and what better way to kick it off than by stuffing my face with donuts, right? I can hear you all saying hells yeah… The Brighton Food Festival is one of the very few Brighton occasions I make a point of clearing some time for. Admittedly I wasn’t as wowed as I was at last years, but I love photographing food almost as much as I love eating it, so I’m never really disappointed. The guys from Meat Liquor rocked up this year and if i hadn’t eaten before leaving the house i would have joined their queue ten times over *drools*.
Despite not being overly hungry I did pick up a few donuts that were the size of my face before leaving. I’m pretty sure the bad boys above from The Continental Bakery are full of god knows what but they are ginormous and delicious and I considered them a bank holiday treat to celebrate the four day weekend – not that I didn’t celebrate with a giant easter egg on Sunday as well… (Green and Blacks Mint Chocolate – oh my…)
On the subject of food (not really but nearly) We arrived in Paris yesterday and I can’t wait until next week to show you the photos – food included. I wish we were staying longer but I have a massive bump back to reality tomorrow after one for day week and a two day week. My first five days back in the office is going to be a toughie!
