You might remember seeing this little cleansing number in a haul a few months back – me and my skin were just not agreeing and I just couldn’t pack the moisture in that it seemed to need. Long story short, since I’ve been opting for something lighter plus treating the serious problem areas, things have been oodles better. Oskia’s Renaissance Cleansing Gel was one of the gems I picked up on this little skinare revolution and (unfortunately for my bank balance) I think it’s love…
Available from Cult beauty, the blurb spouts the whole “helps strengthen and revitalise”spiel – in addition to all the vitamins and shizz – important stuff – but here’s what they didn’t tell you:
1) It smells like wine gums – at least I think it’s wine gums I’m thinking of – if not then it’s some other popular fruity sweet. But not the point really – it just smells bloody amazing.
2) It’s a gel, but it’s not a gel. Miss dry face over here was highly concerned by the fact that this ones a gel, but it’s actually more of a gel/balm hybrid, which is possibly why is seems to work so well on so many people with difference skin concerns.
3) It comes out in the best peachy orangey colour!
It works incredibly well at taking off makeup (I always use Bioderma first), even on my most heavily made up days there’s nothing left, and works as both a day and night time cleanser – double whammy. All tied up in the simplistic white packaging – rocketing this one straight to my number one cleansing pick. Dear other previous cleansers, your days are numbered!
