Aesop Reverence Aromatique Hand Balm

I am currently all aboard the bank breaking-ly beautiful Aesop bandwagon. At the moment my latest love is the Reverence Aromatique Hand Balm. Yes, a hand cream. Boring story of the week, I know but it just leaves my hands so darn soft and I felt the need to alert y’all to this fact.

It has a lovely woody, citrus kind of smell – the kind people can somehow smell from across the office and instantly pop up like meer kitties (*ahem* I mean meerkats)  to see what smells so good. I usually have a lot of peeling skin around my cuticles which I then peel off when I’m stressed. I know, I know, TMI. This post just gets better and better right? Luckily I don’t have to worry about that any more as this really has done the trick at keeping my hands hydrated.

The only downer here as with most Aesop products is the price, I’m lucky enough to get a pretty hefty discount off my bestie and am on the fence as to whether I would repurchase without it. But if you ever find yourself with a discount code I’d definitely flag it as a luxury hand cream to pick up. But just in case you a bit of a perfectionist, I’m telling you now the tube does not stay that pristine…

I'm constantly messing with my cuticles too! Thank you for telling me about this, I will definitely look into it.
I love the packaging too, even if it doesn't stay pristine lol

I adore Aesop products both for their performance and for the design and packaging! Right now my favorite is the Parsley Seed Mask! Have you tried that one?

My mom has a body lotion from Aesop with the same citrus smell and I take every chance I get to use it because it is just amazing!

  4. 18 Jul 2014 / 2:57 pm

I might have to give that one a try! Regarding the tube, I actually love the way my Aesop Parsley Seed mask looks like after a couple of uses. It adds, character 😉

I'm always peeling away at my cuticles too! x

The price is the sad truth about Aesop products:( Would love to try it someday though!

I absolutely swear by my Aesop hand balms when I'm working at a desk! Currently using this one as well but I mostly prefer the Resurrection Aromatique scent for summer (:

I always have dry skin around my cuticles (which I also pick off when I'm stressed!) It makes my hands look so gross! I too love the bank-breaking goodness of Aesop, so need to check this out

I actually love that the Aesop tubes don't stay so pristine 🙂 reminds me of oil paints! They are pricey but smell oh so blissful – I'm a big fan of the Resurrection Aromatique range. I'd kit my bathroom out with purely Aesop products if I could!

I'm a cuticle messer upper too, and it just makes me sad and they hurt too! I've tried a few hand creams and none have fixed them, so you're definitely tempting me!

  19. 19 Jul 2014 / 6:43 am

I love the sound of this! It is pretty pricey but it definitely sounds worth the splurge!

After reading your blog I went ahead and got myself an Aesop mask, and now I'm kinda addicted to how ahhMAZING and luxurious it smells. I can wait to try this one too.

I've heard of Aeosop brand, they turn out to be so honest in terms of 'beauty miracles'!! If I have the chance, I'll give a try to the hand cream.

I do the same thing to the skin around my cuticles, lol. So gross. But anyway, I'd love to try anything from Aesop at this point…
