Last week what should have been a perfectly overcast day turned in to something a little more dreary in London. After getting a sneak peek at Space NK’s Christmas drop we decided to make the most of Kensington High Street – naturally including some outfit snaps – before being rained off moments later.
One of my favourites to wear on a grey day is my white lace tunic dress from H&M. It was one of those spur of the moment purchases that could have gone either way (I didn’t even try on before buying) but has been such a great piece in my wardrobe and it’s cost per wear is now pretty minimal. I’d been wanting to pair it with my sandals from Topshop for so long and finally got round to it – they don’t go with everything unless your wardrobe is full of tunic dresses or denim shorts (or your legs go on for days) so I was waiting for a day that wasn’t too hot to piece it all together.
A pretty simple outfit all together but it’s a really easy one for cooler days as you can throw almost any coat over the top, from denim or leather jackets to trench or duster coats. They all just seem to work so you can make things as formal or as casual as you like!
