I've done the whole, "oops accidentally fell in to Topshop spiel so many times around these parts (in todays info box too in fact) that over here I'll save you the bull. I LOVE Topshop. If there was one brand I had to shop from only them for life, it would be Toppers. But I'm trying to be slightly more conscious of how much I buy (so difficult when your job involves styling btw), so I thought in addition to my -now slightly more reserved - hauls, I would include some of the pieces I loved but that didn't make the cut over on these parts. We'll call it - Things I'm Trying Not To Buy (but may cave in to). Welcome to part one.
So firstly, I need to address the pink midi skirt. MY GOD. It's probably top of the list of things i may cave in and buy - I love midi dresses, I love pink, I love animal print. GIMMIE (but don't - because - wardrobe space). Then there's the animal print dress - not sure what the hell animal it is but i love it regardless and think it would look so cute with black ankle boots or white chunky trainers.
And then there's the selection of cullotts and midi skirts they have in stock - I LOVEEEE. Pair with a thin black fitted high neck knit in spring and camis in the summer. Add sandals or chunky trainers and loads of jewellery and you have yourself a staple wardrobe look.
Then we have this little black dress which I am hankering over for the warmer months. It's one of those pieces that would look super cute in the day with an oversized denim/leather/whatever-material-of-your-choice oversized jacket. But also in the evening to go out in with cute little strappy heels and your hair in a little bun - such a 90's vibe.
MUST. RESIST. SHORTS. I love the tie waste utility shorts from Topshop and would more than happily start collecting them TBH. They look especially good with a bralette or cami like this cute satin one in the summer. And THAT JUMPSUIT. Ma gawdddddddd. I love it so much. Such a summer staple and makes for such easy dressing!
